She also talks about how people from all over the country move to New York and bring their culture with them. She showcases all the activities people can take part in, like museums, shops, churches, and baseball fields.

106 - St. Matthews Is My Home (1977)

This program follows a boy and his family who live in St. Matthews, S.C. He talks about what it's like to live in St. Matthews and describes his daily life. He describes the landscape in the country and the differences between living in the country, compared to the city. He lives on a dairy farm, and he explains how each member of his family has to contribute toward the success of the farm.

107 - Grandmother’s Coming (1977)

This episode explores a family living in the United States, and their grandmother (their father’s mother) who is coming from Greece to live with them. The family consists of a father, a mother, a son, and a daughter. A week before their grandmother comes to the United States, the father has a conversation with his son to let him know that because grandmother is going to live with them now, she will need her own room to stay in. Because of this, the son must move out of his room and share a room with his sister.

When the grandmother arrives, she brings gifts for everyone, and when the son opens his gift, he sees an outfit that contains a skirt, which he does not like. This is because the family does not know much about the Greek culture and its customs, because they have stayed in the U.S. for a long time and the children were never taught its culture and customs. Eventually, the son learns more about his heritage, culture, and customs, which leads him to understand and accept them.

108 - Westville, 1850 (1977)

They live on a farm and each person has their own job they must do. She describes what a day in her life looks like and she showcases the town she lives in.
