This 1978 episode of Studio See goes to Sears Point, California and to meet Nancy, a race car driver, and her family. Nancy talks about her experience with racing and the importance of thoroughly checking the race car to make sure it's safe to drive. Nancy also talks about how important and helpful it is to have support from her family.
Next, Studio See travels to the University of Texas to follow Steve Walker, a junior scientist. We journey with Steve to a naval base where he studies green algae at a missile range.
The last segment leads us to Dr. George Carruthers, an astrophysicist studying ultraviolet radiation from hot stars.
