This 1978 episode of Studio See starts off with a trip to Bronx, New York to follow a jump rope team. The team members talk about how they practice, and the techniques involved in jump roping.
The next segment introduces the Charlotte Steel Drum Symphonette. The group describes how they transform the steel drums to instruments as well as how they manipulate them for different tunes. They take us behind the scenes of their practice sessions and talk about the importance of stage presence.
The final segment takes us back to New York to meet a professional high school dance group. The dancers answer questions about dancing. Their teacher demonstrates a practice routine and the difficulty sometimes in learning choreography.
