Studio See: Clearwater (1978) | ETV Classics

This episode of Studio See brings us three segments. Set in Kingston, New York, follow six kids operating a sloop with the help of professionals. The sloop is a unique type of sailboat, and the kids learn all about how it works while also discovering how to test for pollution in the water. Each child takes on a role aboard the sloop, giving everyone a chance to contribute and be part of the crew.

Next up, travel to the Cayman Islands to follow a track team at a small high school. The school doesn't have a lot of equipment, so they improvise by creating most of it. The kids show how they train on the island and how different it is from normal schools.

This episode concludes in Camden, South Carolina. Bill Grant, a duck call maker, shows how to make a duck call and how many he sells in a year.
