This 1977 episode of Studio See goes to Louisiana to follow a young beekeeper. We travel with Alan as he goes to a store to pick up the supplies he needs for beekeeping. He walks us through the process by which bees make honey and the different types of honey. Included are tips on how to use honey for food and different recipes.
The next segment takes us to Berkeley, Georgia to meet a championship windsurfer. Susie explains what windsurfing is and demonstrates the key techniques needed to do it. She also walks us through the different parts of the board and sail."
The last segment features Riverbanks Zoo in South Carolina to meet Ben, a drawing artist. Two kids ask him all sorts of questions about drawing, and he explains his techniques and the tools he uses. Ben also demonstrates how he draws animals and encourages them by showing that anyone can be an artist.
