South Carolina ETV is pleased to welcome Dr. SaBrina Jeffcoat to the Education team as our newest Educational Engagement Specialist.
Dr. Jeffcoat brings a dynamic blend of community engagement, arts education, and strategic communication experience—skills that will support South Carolina ETV’s ongoing mission to provide high-quality, impactful learning opportunities for families and students across the state.
In her new role, Dr. Jeffcoat will help design and deliver programs that strengthen communities, expand access to educational resources, and foster meaningful connections between SCETV and the learners we serve. Her work will support families, students, and learners of all ages through innovative outreach, engaging content, and collaborative partnerships statewide.
A strong background in community-centered education
Dr. Jeffcoat joins SCETV with extensive experience working at the intersection of education, arts, and public engagement. Previously, she served with the SC Civil Rights Museum as Arts Education Director, where she expanded educator outreach, developed new learning tools, increased student tour engagement, and organized impact-driven arts programming.
She led marketing and outreach efforts for Inform Your Community, LLC, guiding brand cohesion, launching a quarterly newsletter, enhancing the organization’s website, and boosting digital engagement. Dr. Jeffcoat has also supported small businesses, universities, and arts organizations through roles in project management, engagement strategy, and program development—all rooted in her commitment to accessible learning and community empowerment.
Dr. Jeffcoat served as SCETV’s Pilot Liaison for the Ziggy’s Arts Adventure grant funded by Corporation for Public Broadcasting and Louisiana Public Broadcasting. She successfully conducted 3 series of Family and Community Learning Events and numerous educational engagement outreach events throughout South Carolina. Her enthusiasm, innovation, and dedication were evident as she spread arts education awareness to students and families statewide.

We are thrilled to welcome Dr. SaBrina Jeffcoat to SCETV Education. Her expertise, creativity, and community-driven approach will be invaluable as we continue building informed, connected South Carolinians. When not working, Dr. Jeffcoat enjoys spending time with family and friends, exploring museums, and eating good food.
