This stunning full length ballet produced and directed for television by Sidney J. Palmer is a visual delight! William Starrett and Mariclare danced the roles of Romeo and Juliet, and there were several guest performers rounding out the troupe of the Columbia City Ballet.

- Romeo and Juliet - Op. 64, is a ballet by Sergei Prokofiev based on William Shakespeare's play Romeo and Juliet. First composed in 1935, it was substantially revised for its Soviet premiere in early 1940. Prokofiev made from the ballet three orchestral suites and a suite for solo piano.
- Sergei Sergeyevich Prokofiev - (April 1891 – March 1953) was a Russian composer, pianist, and conductor who later worked in the Soviet Union. As the creator of acknowledged masterpieces across numerous music genres, he is regarded as one of the major composers of the 20th century.

- Sidney Palmer 1928 - 2016 Obituary. In 1979, Mr. Palmer moved to the South Carolina ETV Network to accept the position of Executive Director for National Programming. It was there that he produced operas, such as The Consul, Vanessa, and Willie Stark for the Great Performances series, and Pilobolus and The Paul Taylor Dance Company for the Dance in America series.

First appearing as a guest artist in 1977, over the past 45 years, he has served as Artist-in- Residence, Associate Director, and Premier Danseur.
- Mariclare Mirada - Faculty, Columbia Conservatory of Dance.
- Andreas Wisniewski - (born 3 July 1959) is a German actor and former dancer. He is best known for his portrayals of Necros in the 1987 Bond film The Living Daylights, Max's companion in the 1996 film Mission: Impossible, and as one of Hans Gruber's henchmen, Tony, in 1988's Die Hard.
