Revolutionary War Generals of South Carolina | History In A Nutshell

According to Dr. Walter Edgar, the Revolutionary War in South Carolina may have started and ended in Charleston, but the war was won in the Carolina backcountry.

To commemorate the U.S.A.’s 250th birthday, this episode of History In A Nutshell is proud to showcase the contributions and legacies of the three legendary South Carolinian partisan generals during the American Revolutionary War: Andrew Pickens, Thomas Sumter, and Francis Marion.
