South Carolina ETV (SCETV) will select a viewer to host a fun-filled “red, white and blue” July 4th watch party in recognition of the upcoming annual Independence Day program, A Capitol Fourth, on PBS.
The selected party will receive a July 4th-themed watch party kit to host a celebration and a $500 gift card for party supplies, provided by A Capitol Fourth and its exclusive national corporate sponsor The Boeing Company.
Winner photos will be shared on A Capitol Fourth and SCETV social media channels. During the live broadcast on July 4th, the selected winner must post photos of their watch party to social media, tagging @SouthCarolinaETV (Instagram and Facebook) / @SCETV (X) and @July4thPBS.
To be considered, message SCETV on Instagram or Facebook before June 27, sharing your interest in hosting a watch party. Messages must answer the question—“what does the 4th of July mean to you?”
America’s longest-running live national Independence Day television tradition, A Capitol Fourth, celebrates America’s birthday with special tributes, musical selections, fun for kids of all ages and the greatest display of fireworks in the U.S.A. A Capitol Fourth will broadcast live on ETV on July 4 at 8 p.m. The event will also stream on the PBS website and the PBS YouTube channel.
