South Carolina Social Studies educators, heads up on this exciting opportunity to collaborate with PBS LearningMedia and even earn a stipend!
South Carolina ETV and PBS LearningMedia invite you to apply to be a PBS LearningMedia Teacher Ambassador.
The PBS LearningMedia Teacher Ambassador Program will leverage the network and influence of engaged community members and thought-leaders like you to showcase the impact of using media in the classroom to help students engage with the history and legacies of the Revolutionary Era.
If accepted as a PBS LearningMedia Teacher Ambassador, you will have the opportunity to:
- promote the Ken Burns in the Classroom The American Revolution Collection, as well as other civics and history classroom resources, to your peers
- present at professional development events
- serve as an educational representative alongside PBS LearningMedia staff at conferences
- and assist with other awareness and engagement campaigns.
The program will run from January 2026 through September 2026 and includes a $1,500 stipend.
