South Carolina ETV and Public Radio (SCETV), in partnership with The Southern Conference, announces SoCon on SCETV. This new, limited-run basketball series brings live Southern Conference (SoCon) men’s and women’s games to viewers across the state. The four-game series will broadcast statewide each Saturday in February on ETV, offering free access to NCAA Division I collegiate basketball.
Across four consecutive Saturdays, SCETV will broadcast local matchups hosted by The Citadel, Furman University, Western Carolina University and Wofford College on its flagship channel, ETV. The series expands access to collegiate athletics while reinforcing SCETV’s commitment to local storytelling, education and community connection.
Coverage will continue into March, when SCETV will air the four men’s quarterfinal games of the 2026 Ingles SoCon Basketball Championships on the South Carolina Channel.
South Carolina is home to more SoCon institutions than any other state, and each game in the series features programs that represent or serve South Carolina viewers. Through live coverage, SoCon on SCETV aims to deepen community ties as well as elevate student-athletes and their academic stories, while expanding access to local sports programming for audiences statewide.
