In May on Knowitall Media, we continue to feature the Holocaust Remembrance Collection, followed by Keep It Real, our series for teens 14 and up, that will serve as a timely reminder to avoid risky behavior when traffic deaths among teens spike. Next up will be a Collection of videos for Armed Forces Day, followed by our new Collection of virtual tours, Explore South Carolina. On Memorial Day, we’ll finish the month by honoring and paying tribute to those who made the ultimate sacrifice for their country...and for all of us.

At the start of May, we continue to offer throughout Yom HaShoah and the Week of Remembrance our Holocaust Remembrance Collection, which features the ETV documentary, Seared Souls: South Carolina Voices of the Holocaust. In addition, we’ll present S.C. Voices: Lessons from the Holocaust, the full interviews with South Carolinians who survived the Holocaust, and those who liberated the concentration camps or witnessed the atrocities that took place.

As the spring semester comes to an end, our thoughts turn to proms, graduations and the start of summer vacations. Almost in an instant, this joyous, celebratory time of year can become a time of immense heartbreak and tragedy when a young person’s life is taken all too soon, as a result of risky behavior or inexperience.  South Carolina ETV encourages you to influence a teen in your life, age 14 or above, to view Keep It Real and consider the possibility that such a tragedy could occur in their life or the life of a friend or family member.  These videos offer a reality check that may serve as a valuable lesson in avoiding risky behavior. But it won’t work unless they actually view them! Please encourage them to do so and give them fair warning that the videos are difficult to watch.

On Armed Forces Day, we honor and thank those who serve in all five branches of the United States Armed Forces including the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, and Coast Guard.

In the fourth week of May, we invite you to Explore South Carolina! This Collection takes you on a virtual tour of some places you may never have visited. There could be some you’ve never even heard of! One thing for certain is that you’ll enjoy these brief video tours, each from a different location in our state. Enjoy the journey!

On Memorial Day, we’ll pay tribute to those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom, for our country, and for all of us.

Please mark these dates on your calendar, so you won’t miss these features coming up during this busy time of year! And remember, these Collections and Series are always available, at any time, here on Knowitall Media!
