The Poetry Society Presents a Reading by the Upstate Poets Collective

Join for an evening of poetry in partnership with the Upstate Poets and the Poetry Society of South Carolina. This event will feature readings from members of the Upstate Poets—a collective of writers dedicated to cultivating and sharing their craft—as well as members of the Poetry Society of South Carolina. 

A few open-mic spots will also be available—sign-ups begin at 5:15 PM at the bookstore and are first come, first served. 

Whether you’re a longtime poetry lover or simply curious to hear local voices, this gathering offers a warm, creative space to celebrate words, community and the literary spirit of Greenville. Come early, grab a coffee or a glass of wine from Camilla Kitchen, and settle in for an inspiring night at the bookstore. 

Location: M. Judson Bookstore, 130 S. Main Street, Greenville, SC—an independent bookstore and literary hub in downtown Greenville 

Format: Several readers from the Upstate Poets critique group, with a few open spots available for sign-ups at the door (beginning at 5:00 PM, first come, first served).
