The Poetry Society Presents: Poetry Trails Riverfront Park

Time & Location ---- Jun 13, 2026, 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM Riverfront Park, 1061 Everglades Ave, North Charleston, SC 29405, USA   About the event -- Back by popular demand!  Come join us on an encore Poetry Trails visit to Riverfront Park on June 13th, 2026, from 10 am to noon. Riverfront Park is located in North Charleston with plenty of parking, restrooms, and wide walkways. We will meet at the Greater Charleston Naval Base Memorial which is closer to Everglades Avenue parking area. 

However, if you want to increase your steps, you may park near the Noisette Creek Pedestrian Bridge. If you haven't experienced a poetry trails event, this is your opportunity to come along. We will share poems at various focal points and allow time for you to write, so bring your materials with you. The Cooper River views are picturesque and behind the waterfront, former historical naval officers' buildings are nestled by grand oaks and gardens. 

If art captivates you, then the annual exhibition of juried sculptures will delight. Plus, if you have young children, the park has a playground and an interactive children's water fountain available. We would love to have you gather with us. New acquaintances often become new friends by the end of the event.
