Parade Day and the Holiday Parade of Lights
A time of community celebration, where everyone can Love Local, Shop Local, and Dine Local, all while celebrating the holiday season in various locations. Start the day in the town of South Congaree to get in some early parade action. The Town of South Congaree’s Christmas Parade starts at 10 a.m. and is a great time for all to get into the holiday spirit.
Saturday, December 13 is Parade Day – From 12-4 p.m., you can visit the North Pole (the CWC Chamber Office at 1006 12th St.) and experience the enchantment of the season with family fun, live music, amusements, and more. Throughout the day you can hop on and off the Holiday Parade Day Trolley that runs around Cayce and West Columbia with stops at *Triangle City, the Interactive Art Park, State Street Cayce, and Steel Hands Brewing.
5:30 p.m.: The Holiday Parade of Lights* – The streets come alive with the highlight of the day, the spectacular Holiday Parade of Lights. Last year, there were over 24,000 people in attendance and watched as the magic of the season began with thousands of lights suiting hundreds of floats, cars, and other parade vehicles.
