Members Only Behind the Seams Tour: Textiles from the Deep: Findings from the H.L. Hunley Submarine

On September 30th, Museum Members are invited to an exclusive preview of Textiles from the Deep: Findings from the H.L.Hunley Submarine before it opens to the public. Curator of Historic Textiles Virginia Theerman will provide a guided tour of this never before seen exhibit, along with Johanna Rivera-Diaz, Senior Conservator of Archaeological Materials and Collections Manager at the Warren Lasch Conservation Center. Together they will speak on the textile materials found during the excavation of this maritime mystery.
