The College of Charleston Orchestra, conducted by Yuriy Bekker, will present
its fall concert featuring Gustav Holst's The Planets, Op. 32. Composed in
1917, this monumental work is a suite of movements, each named after a planet
in our Solar System and its corresponding astrological character. This
powerful and evocative piece will showcase the artistry of our institution's
excellent orchestra.
