Charleston's St. Patrick's Day Parade

Come and enjoy the largest St. Patrick's Day Parade in South Carolina. You can be one of the many thousands who march or the many many more or watch. The day begins with a 8 AM celebratory mass at St. Patrick's Church. The Parade kicks off at 10 AM at King and Radcliffe Streets in Downtown Charleston. The Parade proceeds down King Street and turns onto Broad Street with the Parade ending at the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist. We will be celebrating our 25 anniversary, so come help us celebrate. The parade will include Irish step dancers, friends from Ireland, bagpipers, floats, firetrucks, antique cars, all 32 County flags, local schools, parishes and of course the Grand Marshall. After the Parade don't forget, we all gather at City Hall to raise the flag of Ireland and sing her national anthem. Once the flag raising has concluded, you are invited to enjoy downtown's Irish establishments with their freshly made corn beef and cabbage and many choices of Charleston's locally made ales and stouts.
