The days are getting shorter and the growing season is reaching its end which means it is time for Carolina Backcountry Harvest again! This living history event will showcase some of the crafts and trades that helped support a Backcountry homestead as well as other daily chores and activities that were essential to survival and success. Guests will gain an understanding of what life was like in this early settlement as they interact with costumed interpreters and skilled craftspeople, enjoy backcountry games, 1800's foods, bread and butter making, period toys and take and make craft kits. This event is fun for the whole family! This is a FREE Event and fun for all ages! The Williams-Brice House and Temple Sinai Jewish History Center will be open with free admission as well.
