American Revolution Experience Exhibit

—
Lancaster County Historic Courthouse

The American Revolution Experience, a special traveling exhibit, will be on display in Lancaster, SC. This exhibit is brought through a partnership between the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) and the American Battlefield Trust, and will be hosted by the Elizabeth Hutchinson Jackson Chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution and Lancaster County Historical Commission.

The American Revolution Experience features 12 educational panels and interactive digital kiosks, using storytelling, illustrations, and technology to bring the history of the American Revolution to life. This exhibit tells the stories of individuals from diverse backgrounds, highlighting not only the well-known figures of the Revolution but also unsung heroes—soldiers, civilians, and everyday people who shaped the nation's fight for independence. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore primary sources, artifacts, and digital content that tell the stories of both Patriots and Loyalists, soldiers and civilians, as well as the experiences of Black, Native, and international allies during this pivotal time.
