ALONE... Tales from Edgar Allan Poe

Created and performed by Daniel Hall Kuhn, ALONE… Tales from Edgar Allan Poe is an acclaimed 55-minute multimedia solo performance bringing Poe’s narrators and characters—not Poe himself—to vivid life. Live acting is combined with projected environments, sound, lighting and atmospheric effects in a program featuring “The Tell-Tale Heart,” “The Raven,” “Annabel Lee,” “A Dream Within a Dream,” “The Bells” and “Alone.”

The production was previously presented at Charleston’s 2024 Piccolo Spoleto Festival and has appeared at theatres, schools, universities and literary events from New York to South Carolina. Performances at Old Trolley Theatre in Summerville are October 22 and 23 at 8 p.m.; October 24 at 3 and 8 p.m.; and October 25 at 3 p.m.
