Sea Change Airs November 15 at 7 p.m.

November 15, 2017 - Posted in SCETV Presents by Kaitlyn Park

Individuals across the world have had to consider what effects climate change could have on the planet. It’s a topic of political and cultural discussion, but as weather events and rising sea levels continue to rock the coastline, lands that claim homes and businesses deteriorate, and local ecosystems hang in the balance, what can the southeastern United States expect in impacts?

Narrator Patrick McMillan takes viewers from the sands of Hunting Island State Park to other communities along the coast, looking at immediate and long-term impacts and the efforts made to withstand nature’s onslaught.

The SCETV Special: Sea Change aired tonight, Wed., Nov. 15, on SCETV at 7 p.m., and will rebroadcasts Sunday, Nov. 19, at 4 p.m. on SCETV and Mon., Nov. 20, at 8 p.m. on the SC Channel. Follow along on social media with #SeaChange
