Call for U.S. INPUT Pre-selection Submissions
U.S. INPUT PRE-SELECTION CALL FOR ENTRIES for INPUT 2018 in Brooklyn, NY on Monday, April 30th to Friday, May 3rd.
INPUT has organized international public television’s most important and influential annual screening conference for more than 35 years. This unique event — held annually in a different country — encourages the development of public service television by screening and debating the most outstanding programs from around the world. INPUT is dedicated to the proposition that television should be public service in the public interest, and that access to the most honest, innovative, provocative, courageous and challenging broadcasting is a universal, fundamental human right. It recognizes public media's potential to promote better understanding among the world’s different cultures. INPUT is a voluntary organization.
U.S. producers interested in entering programs (TV, digital, and online) to INPUT for consideration must submit to U.S. INPUT Pre-selection coordinated by SCETV. Feature length programs beyond an hour are challenging to schedule at INPUT so please upload the shortest version of your program for consideration.
The INPUT conference in Brooklyn in 2018 is requesting the following (your submissions are not limited to these categories):
-“Fifty is the new Thirty“: Programs that are especially attractive for the audience aged 30 to 50. Submissions can be factual, fiction or entertainment.
-Web programmes for young people
-Tailor-Made for INPUT: Edgy and surprising programmes that don’t fall into any of the three categories but promise to stir lively debates!
The deadline for submissions is Friday, November 10, 2017. There is no entry fee.
We look forward to receiving your submissions!
