Sara Ballard

Sara Ballard served as a panelist on Palmetto Perspectives: Women in Politics.

Sara Ballard is a founder of South Carolina Women in Leadership and, before being appointed executive director of the statewide multi-partisan nonprofit, she served as COO since 2018. Ballard is also the principal marketing consultant to Columbia Eye and Columbia Eye Surgery Center (2012-present), as well as a campaign manager for Kasie Whitener for her US Senate 2026 run. She has more than 20 years of experience in fundraising, event management, operations, marketing, advertising, public relations, and communications for local and national nonprofits and corporations including Boys & Girls Club, American Heart Association, Famously Hot New Year, SC Oncology Cares Foundation, Pawmetto Lifeline, Dickerson Children's Advocacy Center, Sexual Trauma Services of the Midlands, and Historic Camden Foundation.
