Glenn Rawls has worked with SCETV since college, first as an actor, late night radio board operator, and production assistant. After graduating from USC with a degree in Broadcast Journalism, he worked for SCETV as a writer for medical and legal TV courses. He served as a producer for the fund-raiser and as Director of On-Air Promotion, during which time he designed the first animated graphics package for the network and created “Smart Cat,” the children’s mascot seen daily on ETV Kids. He created the concepts for “The Night Night Show” and “PBS Rewind” on ETV, and serves as the on-air voice for the network. Over 500 of his trailers have aired nationwide on PBS. He is also a playwright, whose works have been produced off-Broadway and in major markets around the country.
