Dr. Stephanie Frazier

Dr. Stephanie Frazier is the Vice President for Education and leads the coordination of division activities including educational broadband services, online professional development, instructional technology initiatives, and educator training. Prior to joining ETV, Stephanie served as the Associate Vice President for Curriculum and Instruction at the SC Technical College System. There she was responsible for curriculum management, teaching and learning activities, institutional research, and grants management. 

Her early career involved work in the private sector as an instructional designer, and a position with the University of South Carolina TRIO Programs as an academic counselor and technology manager. Stephanie also worked previously with ETV as one of the original trainers for the StreamlineSC video-on-demand service.

Dr. Frazier received her undergraduate degree in Business, Master’s degree in Educational Technology, and her Ph.D. in Educational Administration, all from the University of South Carolina. A proud first-generation college graduate, she is dedicated to the provision of meaningful educational experiences for South Carolina students. She is most passionate about issues related to digital learning, gender equity, and leadership development.  

Stephanie has received numerous awards including Administrator of the Year and recognition as a Top Mover and Shaker by The State newspaper. She has published many articles and case studies in a variety of publications. She is civically engaged and a graduate of Leadership Columbia.

Storytime with South Carolina ETV
Storytime with South Carolina ETV is a new online series that promotes the love of reading and literary stories connected to our great state. The series will include stories about historical figures and South Carolina geography, coming of age narratives, and a few classics that target viewers of all educational levels. There will be learning activities to accompany the recordings.
