Special Projects Director to the President
Bobbi Kennedy

Since August 2010, she has served as Special Projects Director to the President. Examples of activities include working with the President and the management team on budget planning and review, legislative activities, representing ETV with partner organizations on state, regional and national efforts that support ETV's core mission, and coordinating projects assigned by ETV's President.

She has served as the Senior Vice President of Education since 2003, responsible for the management of ETV's state, regional and national education projects. Areas of service include early childhood, K-12, law enforcement and emergency preparedness, state agencies, higher and medical education, and outreach. Services are distributed via satellite, audio and video conferencing, broadcast television and radio, and online services. Mrs. Kennedy served as ETV's Vice President for Continuing Education from 1980 to 2003, as Division Director from 1977 to 1980, State Agency Service Director from 1972-1977 and Agency Grant Writer from 1971 to 1972.

She serves on a variety of boards including The University of South Carolina's Bernardin Lectureship Committee, Lander University External Advisory Council, Clemson University's College of Health, Education and Human Development, The Palmetto Project, University of South Carolina's SC College of Librarianship Awards Committee, K-12 Technology Initiative, the South Carolina Historic Corridor Commission, and the Central Carolina Community Foundation Literacy 2030 Initiative. She is a graduate of the South Carolina Executive Institute. Kennedy holds a B.A in Speech and Theatre from Sioux Falls University, Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and a M.A in English from the University of South Dakota.

Bobbi has four adult children and five grandchildren. Her husband, Ray, is deceased.
