Ashley Murray

Ashley Murray is currently the lead teacher for the Broadcasting and Journalism Magnet Academy in Orangeburg County School District. Ashley earned her B.A. in elementary education from the University of South Carolina and her M.ED. in Divergent Learning from Columbia College. She later obtained her Gifted and Talented Endorsement from the University of South Carolina Aiken. This has allowed her to assist students in recognizing and using their talents to be academically successful. 

In addition to being an elementary teacher for 14 years, Mrs. Murray has been awarded Teacher of the Year twice and has been a TAP Mentor Teacher for NIET where she has observed, evaluated, and supported other teachers. Mrs. Murray is strongly committed to teaching and encouraging students to learn and experience new things daily.
