About the Film
Becoming Thurgood: America's Social Architect chronicles Marshall's remarkable journey from his 1908 birth in Baltimore through his education at Lincoln University and Howard University School of Law, to his groundbreaking legal career. Board of Education case that ended racial segregation in public schools. His 1967 appointment to the Supreme Court marked a historic milestone, and he served with distinction until 1991.
