Weather Hunters
Weather Hunters is a new animated series from PBS KIDS® for children K - 2nd Grade created by Emmy-winning weatherman and host from TODAY, Al Roker. Each episode is a 22-minute story featuring eight-year-old weather wiz and force of nature Lily Hunter and her family. The Hunter family explores and reports on everything from rain, snow, dew, thunder, lightning, ice and fog to more extreme weather, like hurricanes. This series is about inspiring a new generation to explore the incredible world of weather and investigate its role in their lives.

Meet the Helpers
Many children have questions and can feel uneasy when emergencies occur in their communities. Together, we can help children learn about important community helpers in a calm and fun environment, so when an emergency strikes, children will understand who to look for and how to help. Meet the Helpers is designed to introduce “helpers” and explain the role they play in emergency situations. For more information on this WUCF initiative, visit meetthehelpers.org.
