ETV Spartanburg

ETV Spartanburg's studios, located on the campus of the University of South Carolina-Upstate, are the Upstate's link to ETV's digital information superhighway. Serving Spartanburg, Greenville, and the surrounding communities since 1985, WRET Channel 49 augments the ETV statewide broadcast schedule with local programming for and about the Upstate's unique people, places, and issues. WRET's local programs also air on WNTV Channel 29 in Greenville. 

Our educational mission is to serve area K-12 schools, higher education, and government agencies with both broadcast and non-broadcast production services. Distance learning via ETV's 32-channel digital satellite system has recently become a service priority for WRET-TV. We are currently offering a variety of college-credit courses to students throughout South Carolina using our state-of-the-art Distance Learning Studio. 

Video has become a vital communication tool in the information age. ETV Spartanburg offers video production services, teleconferencing, and other services for K-12 schools, higher education, government agencies, and business & industry.
