About Us
From beach music to barbecue, Walter Edgar's Journal takes listeners on a journey that delves into South Carolina's past while providing insight into the state's current affairs.
"Everything we do in the state is a product of the past," University of SC historian Dr. Walter Edgar says. "On the Journal we look at current events in a broader perspective, trying to provide context that is often missing in the mainstream media." Walter Edgar's Journal offers a unique perspective on the complex and intriguing issues tied to South Carolina's past, present and future.
Listeners can hear Walter Edgar's Journal on ETV Radio's Classical NPR News Stations and NPR News Stations each Friday at noon, with a repeat Sunday at 8:00 p.m. on all NPR News Stations.
