This week, it's a conversation with U.S. District Judge Matthew Perry. He takes us on a journey from his humble beginnings in a segregated South Carolina…his struggles with the separate but equal educational system…and his part in helping to break down the color barrier. In between he spins some delightful stories about the people who helped shape South Carolina through the turbulent 60’s and 70’s. He is now the Senior Judge on the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina.
