(Originally broadcast 01/18/13) - USC Lancaster's new Native American Studies Center is opened in October, the only Native American Studies Program in the USC system. The center features 6000 sq feet of gallery space, an oral history recording studio, a Catawba language lab, an archive with photos, documents and recordings of SC tribes and an archaeology lab. It houses the world's largest collection of Catawba pottery.
