About This Show
Dorothea Benton Frank talks about her newest novel, Isle of Palms , which has already hit the N.Y. Times best-seller list. It’s a story about the complexities of modern families that Pat Conroy describes as "hilarious and wise." Dottie is a lot of fun to talk with and you’re sure to appreciate her wit and Southern charm.
I’ll also talk with producer Tony Tackaberry about the History Detectives series. An upcoming episode investigates South Carolina’s Beech Island Agricultural Club to see if they’ve uncovered the original, signed copy of Robert E. Lee’s farewell address in their archives. This episode airs on SCETV Monday, July 21 at 8 pm.
