The Big Picture

Naturalization/The Catawba River

The Big Picture travels to the Charles Pinckney Historic Site in Mt. Pleasant, SC to cover a U.S. Naturalization Ceremony, where up to 150 people will be sworn in as citizens.  We will also preview the newest Carolina Stories on Charles Pinckney, "Forgotten Founder."

We then travel to the other end of the state to take a trip down the Catawba River, that was recently dedicated as a scenic river.

How wonderful it is to know that the Catawba River that I love is being reclaimed and restored to its original beauty
and purity. What a treat for my grandson and his fifth-grade class to partake in such an instructive adventure!
Thank you!
