Mrs. John Marsh: The World Knew Her as Margaret Mitchell

Friday - June 06, 2014

The great American novel Gone with the Wind is 78 years old, this year; and the classic movie based on the book celebrates its 75th anniversary in December. Many of us, especially those of us raised in the South, are familiar with Gone with the Wind. Many of us, though, know little about the novel’s author, Margaret Mitchell. Playwright Melita Eastes and actress Saluda Camp, bring Margaret Mitchell to life on the stage, in the play Mrs. John Marsh: The World Knew Her as Margaret Mitchell, as part of Piccolo Spoleto’s Stelle di Domani series.
