Wofford Language Academy, A Blue Ribbon School Nominee and Science P.L.U.S for Teachers

This week's podcast opens with an interesting conversation featuring the Director of the Language Academy at Wofford, a program for pre-college students focusing on immersion and cross-cultural education scheduled for the summer of 2012. There are two- and four-week programs for rising 8th through 12th graders in French, German and Spanish, and a four week program in Chinese to be held in June and July. We'll be celebrating the Blue Ribbon School nomination of the Marrington Middle School of the Arts in The Berkeley County School District and learn about how this school's achievements played a role in their receiving this national distinction. And we don't want teachers in grades 3 - 8 who might be interested in this summer's Science P.L.U.S Institute to miss out on getting their application in for this popular institute, so we'll review its program and the application process.
