Monday - October 01, 2012
This week we begin a three part series of podcasts centered around the WhatWorksSC award to be presented by the Riley Institute Center for Education Policy at Furman University and SC Future Minds, a major player in finding private funding for public schools in South Carolina. Representatives from the Riley Institute and SC Future Minds join us this week to talk about the $10,000 Dick and Tunky Riley WhatWorksSC Award to be made on October 17th and we’ll also hear from the first of the three finalists for the prize, the Bridges to a Brighter Future program, a fifteen year old project between Furman and the School District of Greenville County.
