Schools around the state are gearing up for another academic year and the same is true with the South Carolina Virtual School Program (SCVSP). Since the pilot year of 2006 -07 this free program has experienced tremendous growth among 7 - 12 grade students in the public, private, charter, home school and other schools of the state. On today's podcast, officials with the SCVSP alert interested parents, students and educators as to the fall registration period beginning Monday, August 15th. The registration process is discussed along with numerous other aspects of this widely-used option in the Department of Education's school choice options.
