The College Transition Connection: Help for Students With Intellectual Disabilities
Monday - February 07, 2011
What viable and meaningful educational opportunities are available after high school for youth with intellectual disabilities? For too many of these young people, there are few viable and meaningful alternatives for continuing education. Students and their parents need more options, and the College Transition Connection (CTC) was created to help. The CTC works with select Colleges and Universities in South Carolina to design, create and fund transition and post-secondary opportunities for young adults with intellectual disabilities. Learn about CTC on this week's podcast as we chat with its founder and representatives from some of the college and university campuses offering the program.
