One of the highlights of the Summer Leadership Institute sponsored annually by the South Carolina Association of School Administrators (SCASA) is the State Superintendent of Education’s State of the Schools address, which this year took the form of a live, interactive interview with news anchor Judi Gatson of WIS-TV. Ms. Gatson, conference attendees and viewers on the internet presented questions on topics ranging from federal stimulus funds to school choice. An edited version of the presentation is this week’s feature on Speaking of Schools.
