Successes in Dropout Prevention

More than 800 fewer students dropped out of state high schools in 2010 than in the previous year, according to a new report from the South Carolina Department of Education. A number of districts across the state showed improvement, and this week on the podcast well talk with officials of two of the districts that had marked success in curbing this national, state and local problem. Join us as we hear from the folks in Laurens District # 56 and Newberry County Schools who will discuss their strategies.
