State Superintendent Mick Zais Addresses Key Education Topics

This week on the podcast, our State Superintendent joins us to discuss several topics, the first of which is the waiver granted by the U.S. Department of Education to South Carolina’s request for exemption from certain provisions of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (No Child Left Behind). Dr. MIck Zais also discusses his proposal for a new and separate school district to which schools that consistently fail to meet standards will be assigned.
