SC Education Oversight Committee; Clemson’s Moore School of Education
Monday - August 31, 2009
At the end of the last school year, the South Carolina Education Oversight Committee (EOC) and Clemson University’s Moore School of Education joined hands to determine what South Carolinians thought about their public schools and what the future holds for public school students. Over 6,500 responses were tallied from four groups of stakeholders – parents, business persons, educators and taxpayers. Join representatives of the EOC and the University as the findings of this survey are discussed as well as how these findings will evolve into new statewide goals, student performance levels and school ratings on the new state accountability test.
