Speaking of Schools

Promoting Public Education in the Palmetto State Through South Carolina Future Minds

Monday - January 09, 2012

This week's guest on Speaking of Schools is Trip Dubard, the Executive Director of South Carolina Future Minds, a 501(c)3 formed several years ago to enable individuals and corporations to support public education. Over 40 corporations are directly involved in initiatives supported by S.C. Future Minds, and hundreds of individuals have contributed directly to schools and individual classrooms through them. Fundraising opportunities exist through the organization, and the upcoming "This School's Got Talent," the only statewide talent show for public school students, will select performers for this year's Teacher of the Year banquet to be held in April. S.C. Future Minds is a great organization that you can learn more about on Speaking of Schools!
