P.A.C.E. Center services and avoiding the “summer slide.”
Monday - June 28, 2010
The P.A.C.E. Center in Spartanburg was formed through a merger of two earlier established mental health agencies, Mental Health America of the Piedmont and Carolina Counseling. The Center performs a number of services: Prevention, Advocacy, Counseling and Education and serves clients in several upstate counties offering services similar to those available through other Mental Health America locations in the state. Library groups throughout the state are sponsoring the popular No Book Left Unread program over the summer. Students and adults are reading, recording their minutes read and participating. School libraries will be collecting the minutes and repotting the totals in October. And we'll also recognize the 16 high schools in South Carolina that Newsweek Magazine recently named as America's Best High Schools. Join us for this weeks informative podcast!
