National Board Certification and Teacher Practices plus Springing Into Summer with Environmental Ed

A new survey of teachers by the Center for Educator Recruitment, Retention and Advancement indicates that the National Board certification process has a positive effect on both students and teachers and our podcast guests from the Center for Educator Recruitment, Retention and Advancement (CERRA) will discuss findings of this survey which was conducted with more than 2,100 Nationally Board Certified teachers (NBCTs) from across the Palmetto State. Also on this week's show, the Environmental Education Association of South Carolina's engaging and family-oriented annual conference on “Environmental Education Awareness to Action” is scheduled for Friday June 11, – Sunday, June 13, on the campus of Columbia College. The Association's President previews all of the fun and educational opportunities available to those attending.
