Montessori Education as an option in public and private schools

The Montessori Method is, of course, one of the options offered by the South Carolina Department of Education as a part of Superintendent Jim Rex's expanded school choice options. On the podcast, the state coordinator of Montessori Education in the Department of Education is joined by the Director of Montessori Education at Lander University, the higher education institution in the state with a long-time commitment to training teachers in the Montessori Method, and the Headmaster of A Private Montessori School in Greenville County who also serves as the Chairperson of the Montessori Alliance of South Carolina, a partnership of public and private Montessori schools. Learn more about this growing-in-popularity school choice option that is in use worldwide and that celebrated its 100th birthday just two years ago.
