Montessori Certification and the State Library DISCUS Program

Last month the State Board of Education approved an avenue of teacher certification for those non-certified teachers of children in Montessori Schools and certain certified teachers who wish to pursue Montessori Certification. Montessori programs are one of the choice options available through the Office of School Choice in the Department of Education and on this week's podcast we'll give some in-depth information about this new certification program. Also, more and more South Carolinians are becoming acquainted with the State Library's DISCUS program, a digitized information system for teachers, students and just about everyone.
